Pulling dogs from the shelter comes with risks - mainly health but sometimes behavior is an issue too. We do everything we can to save the dogs we pull but sometimes it is in God's hands. We pulled a pregnant mom that broke with herpes when her puppies were born. Herpes has a terrible mortality rate in puppies under 2 weeks.
